This policy explains what information Chicago Home Cleaning collects, how we use it, who helps us handle it, and how you can see, correct or delete it. It covers this website (chicagohomecleaning.co) and its quote form, the card page we send you by text, the lead forms we run on Facebook and Instagram, and the texts and calls we exchange with you.
Who we are
Chicago Home Cleaning is a house cleaning service for downtown Chicago, the North Side and Arlington Heights, Illinois. To reach us about anything in this policy, text or call (224) 387-2786.
What we collect
When you send the quote form on this website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your mobile number
- Your email address and zip code, if you give them
- Your home size and how often you want cleaning
- Anything you write in the notes
- Whether you ticked the box to get texts about your quote, and when you sent the form
- The internet (IP) address and the browser type the form came from, which we use to stop abuse of the form
How you found us. When you send the quote form, it also tells us how you found this site: the website that linked you here, any campaign tags in the link (for example utm tags, or a Google or Facebook click ID), and the first page you opened on this site. Your browser keeps this in its session storage for the current visit only, and it reaches us only if you send the form. We use it to learn which ads and links bring in requests.
When you use a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta sends us the answers you entered: your name, phone number, zip code, home size and how often you want cleaning. Meta's own privacy policy covers what you do on its apps.
When you text, call or message us, we keep those messages, plus any details and photos of your home that you send, your address once you pick a day, and scheduling details and notes about your service.
When you save a card. After you book, we may text you a link to our card page. It asks for your name, mobile number and, if you want, your email. The card itself goes into a secure form run by Square, our payment processor, and the card details go straight to Square. We never see or store your full card number; Square tells us the card type and its last four digits. As with the quote form, we keep the IP address and browser type the card page was sent from, to stop abuse.
How we use it

- To charge the card you saved after your cleaning is done, at the price we agreed by text
- To follow up on your request or your service
- To keep business records
- To protect the quote form and the card page from abuse, for example by limiting how many requests one connection can send
Texting
We text the number you give us about your quote and your service. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, other than the service providers listed below that deliver our texts and get your request to our team.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Who helps us handle it
A few service providers process your information for us, only to help us run our service:
- Meta, which runs the Facebook and Instagram lead forms
- Our texting and phone provider
- The automation and team messaging tools we use to get your request to our team
- Square, our payment processor, which runs the card form on our card page and handles payments
- Our web hosting and network providers, which deliver this website and protect it from abuse
We share your information with them only so they can provide their services to us. Your requests and bookings are kept in our own booking system, which runs on our web host.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their marketing.
Cookies and tracking on this website
This website has no advertising pixels, no analytics and no tracking tools, and our own pages set no cookies. Our network provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from automated abuse.
The card page loads Square's card form from Square. Square may set its own cookies and collect information about your device on that page to process your payment and prevent fraud. Square's own privacy notice covers that.
Our web hosting and network providers handle basic technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for quotes, your cleanings and our business records, and we delete it when you ask.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Text or call (224) 387-2786 and tell us what you want. We may keep records that the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.
To stop texts at any time, reply STOP.
Children
Our services are for adults. This website, our quote form and our lead forms are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child sent us information, text or call us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.
