Uptown, Edgewater and Andersonville homes, and what that means for a visit

Along Sheridan Road and the lakefront, Uptown and Edgewater have high-rise condos and apartments. Inland, the blocks are vintage courtyard buildings, walk-ups and 2-flats, with single-family houses in parts of Edgewater and in Lincoln Square.

Lakefront high-rises usually check visitors in at a front desk; tell us how yours does it. In a courtyard building or a walk-up, tell us your entrance and floor.

Many of the vintage buildings here have older tile bathrooms. The deep clean checklist covers soap scum, hard-water scale and grout in showers and tubs.

How homes here are priced

A 1 bed, 1 bath high-rise condo on Sheridan Road: one-time deep clean $300, or $150 for your first deep clean with 3 regular cleanings. Regular cleanings after that: $130 to $145 a visit, by how often.
A 2 bed, 1 bath vintage condo is priced as 2 bed, 2 bath (fewer bathrooms than the row, so the same price): one-time deep clean $360, or $180 for your first deep clean with 3 regular cleanings. Regular cleanings after that: $165 to $190 a visit, by how often.
A 3 bed, 2 bath house in Lincoln Square: one-time deep clean $430, or $215 for your first deep clean with 3 regular cleanings. Regular cleanings after that: $205 to $230 a visit, by how often.

Parking and getting in

Many side streets here are permit parking, and street parking near the lakefront high-rises fills up. If your building has guest parking, or you have a guest pass, put it in the form notes.

Prices come from one price list by home size. They are the same in Uptown, Edgewater and Andersonville as everywhere else we clean. How prices work.

Deep clean

The half-off price is for your first deep clean when you book 3 regular cleanings. If you cancel the regular cleanings later, we don't bill you the other half.

Book 3 regular cleanings (weekly, every two weeks or monthly) and your first deep clean is half off. A one-time deep clean on its own is full price. Fewer bathrooms than the row: same price. More bathrooms: the next row up. Bigger than 5 bed, 3 bath, a finished basement, or a home that hasn't been cleaned in a few months: send 3-4 photos and we'll check the price before anything is booked.

Every regular visit covers the kitchen, bathrooms, dusting, floors and trash. Your first deep clean includes inside the oven and inside the fridge at no extra charge. We bring all the supplies.
