Downtown homes, and what that means for a visit

Most homes downtown are condos and apartments in high-rise and mid-rise buildings. The West Loop and the South Loop also have loft buildings, many of them old warehouses and factories turned into homes, and some townhomes.

High-rise buildings usually check visitors in at a front desk, and some ask that cleaners use the service elevator or be on a list before the day. Tell us how your building does it, in the form notes or by text, and we plan the visit around it.

Loft ceilings can be high. On a deep clean we dust the vents, ceiling fans and light fixtures we can reach; if yours sit far overhead, tell us before the visit.

How homes here are priced

• A studio or 1 bed, 1 bath condo: one-time deep clean $300, or $150 for your first deep clean with 3 regular cleanings. Regular cleanings after that: $130 to $145 a visit, by how often.
• A 2 bed, 2 bath condo or loft: one-time deep clean $360, or $180 for your first deep clean with 3 regular cleanings. Regular cleanings after that: $165 to $190 a visit, by how often.
• A 1 bed, 2 bath condo is priced as 2 bed, 2 bath (more bathrooms than studio or 1 bed, 1 bath, so the next row up): one-time deep clean $360, or $180 for your first deep clean with 3 regular cleanings. Regular cleanings after that: $165 to $190 a visit, by how often.

Parking and getting in

Street parking downtown is mostly metered. If your building has guest parking or a loading zone we can use, put it in the form notes; it helps us plan the visit.

Some buildings only let vendors in during set hours. If yours does, tell us the hours when you pick a day.

Prices

Prices come from one price list by home size. They are the same downtown and in the Loop as everywhere else we clean. How prices work.

Book 3 regular cleanings (weekly, every two weeks or monthly) and your first deep clean is half off. A one-time deep clean on its own is full price. Fewer bathrooms than the row: same price. More bathrooms: the next row up. Bigger than 5 bed, 3 bath, a finished basement, or a home that hasn't been cleaned in a few months: send 3-4 photos and we'll check the price before anything is booked.

3. Pick a day by text. We confirm the day, the time and the price in one text.

What's included

Every regular visit covers the kitchen, bathrooms, dusting, floors and trash. Your first deep clean includes inside the oven and inside the fridge at no extra charge. We bring all the supplies.
